The award is granted on the basis of outstanding service to the Club and to the community.
The Rookie of the Year is an honor reserved for members inducted into the Club during the calendar year prior to April 1 of the year of the award. The recipient is selected by a committtee of past presidents and the Club's Honors and Awards Chairperson.
